Personalized Recovery Coaching & Addiction Support in Nanaimo, Vancouver Island and Beyond.
At VIRAS, we strive to build a community where every person seeking recovery is met with kindness, compassion, dignity, and respect. We believe every individual has the ability to grow, heal, and create meaningful change. Through authentic connection and collaborative support, our recovery coaches empower individuals to build healthier lives aligned with their goals for the future.

Are you thinking about making a change but aren't sure where to start? Recovery coaching offers flexible and personalized support for people at every stage of their recovery journey.
Unlike residential or intensive treatment programs, recovery coaching allows you to remain at home, continue working, maintain family responsibilities, and receive confidential support that fits your life.
At VIRAS, we’re here to help you explore and better understand your addictive behaviours, as well as the options and supports available to you. Whether your addiction involves substance-use, gambling, social media, caming, sex or pornography, our recovery coaches work alongside you as you identify your individual recovery goals and empower you to move forward on the pathway that ’s right for you. We provide in-person recovery coaching throughout the Nanaimo region, as well as virtual support across Vancouver Island, British Columbia, and beyond.

"For so many of my clients that are suffering as a result of their addictions, it's the loss of hope that brings them to the point of picking up the phone and asking for help. Together, from this difficult starting point, we begin the process of empowering a belief that change is possible. And when we pair this belief with a plan of action tailored specifically to your unique needs, strengths and abilities, you begin to realize that you are now on the path forward towards a healthier and more meaningful life".
